A First-Aid Kit For Boaters

Stowing a first-aid kit on board is not a Coast Guard requirement, but it’s a smart move for any boater. But if the same kit sits in a compartment over several seasons, the minor emergency that finally has you opening it could reveal a mess of saturated, moldy bandages. That’s because most first aid kits are designed for life on dry land don’t fare well aboard damp boats.
